The concept that “incels” may (or should) seek companionship from intercourse dolls shouldn’t be a new one in incel discourse, notably as sex robot expertise will get increasingly advanced and intercourse dolls extra lifelike. The contrarian conservative UK journal the Spectator, for instance, revealed a bit instantly advocating for intercourse robots for incels. George Mason University economist Robin Hanson printed a blog post seemingly advocating for “sexual redistribution”: a subversion of the sexual market during which sexual entry was state-sanctioned and state-organized. “One might plausibly argue that these with much less access to sex suffer to a similar degree as these with low income, and would possibly similarly hope to realize from organizing around this id, to lobby for redistribution alongside this axis and to at the very least implicitly threaten violence if their demands aren’t met,” he wrote.
